ncaa colleges

For instance, every rower does not require a special gear, helmet, shoulder pads, and footwear to row the boat. And the only equipment that can be considered essential is the boat and the oars. As far as training programs is concerned, the only fundamental aspect of the game is to be able to row faster than the other team. And for venue, rivers and lakes do not necessarily require much maintenance compared to a basketball court or a football field.

If you have that rower instinct inside that feminine frame of yours, then you better believe when you are told that rowing scholarships are a great way to get inside a high profile college or a university. And speaking of colleges and universities, here are some of the most passionate when it comes to women rowing:

The University of Cincinnati houses one of the elite women rowing teams in NCAA and their rowing program is one of the best in the world. Their college scholarship program application is quite a bit different though. Aside from satisfying the academic requirements, the University of Cincinnati also requires their rowing scholarship applicants to submit a video of them performing in competition.

The University of Kansas athletics program offers the Williams Educational Fund for all their athletes, including lady rowers. The funding directly comes from KU alumni and members of the KU community. You can check other universities and learn more about their women rowing program.
